About The Position

The Production Operator 3 is responsible for set-up, troubleshooting and running machines to produce parts for upstream processes. They verify the finished product meets quality expectations while performing required tasks in a safe and efficient manner aligned with machine targets. Extended period of standing/sitting are required for the position dependent upon task assigned. Occasional lifting of up to 30 lbs is required to move material to or away from the machine they are running.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of related work experience.
• GED/high school diploma is preferred.
• Ability to utilize inspection equipment including comparator, micrometers, dial calipers and gages.

Responsibilities

• Set-up, troubleshoot and run machines to produce parts for upstream processes.
• Verify the finished product meets quality expectations.
• Perform required tasks in a safe and efficient manner aligned with machine targets.
• Utilize inspection equipment to measure tooling/product for conformance.
• Identify and isolate any product/material not meeting quality standards.
• Diagnose root cause of nonconforming parts/material and make necessary machine adjustments.
• Prioritize tasks based upon production requirements and complete them throughout the shift.
