Compensation for this position will be dirtied based on a combination of factors, including education, professional certifications, relevant experience, and other job-related considerations permitted by law. Role Responsibility The Production Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of manufacturing equipment and processes to support the production of high-quality materials. This role ensures adherence to established procedures, safety standards, and environmental requirements while maintaining consistent production output and operational reliability.

Requirements

  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend instructions, procedures, and basic documentation
  • Ability to perform physically demanding work including standing, bending, lifting up to 50 lbs, and continuous movement during shifts
  • Ability to work safely in an industrial environment with exposure to dust, fumes, and non-temperature-controlled conditions
  • Ability to follow safety requirements, including use of required PPE and participation in medical monitoring programs as applicable
  • Strong reliability and adherence to procedures and attendance expectations
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment

Nice To Haves

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Experience operating industrial equipment or material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain quality standards
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Operate production equipment including mixers, blenders, mills, furnaces, dryers, and material handling equipment in accordance with established procedures
  • Follow all safety protocols, environmental requirements, and PPE standards to ensure a safe working environment
  • Read and interpret production instructions, work orders, and reports to execute daily production activities accurately
  • Monitor processes and equipment to maintain product quality, consistency, and operational efficiency
  • Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements
  • Support team operations by maintaining a clean work environment and adhering to attendance and operational expectations
