Houston, TX Production Operator III / On-Site Rate of Pay: $20.00- $27.00/hr based on experience Schedule: Multiple Shifts Available- day and night Position Overview The Production Operator III supports safe, efficient manufacturing of specialty chemical products while meeting quality and production targets. This role operates complex equipment, troubleshoots process issues, and supports continuous improvement initiatives. The position works collaboratively across shifts to ensure consistent, compliant operations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Ability to read work instructions, batch records, and safety data
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods
  • Authorization to work in the United States

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree or technical certification
  • Experience in chemical, adhesive, or regulated manufacturing
  • Forklift or industrial equipment certification
  • Experience with ERP or electronic batch record systems

Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor production equipment according to standard operating procedures
  • Set up, adjust, and change over equipment to meet production schedules
  • Accurately record batch data, inspections, and production metrics
  • Perform in-process quality checks and escalate deviations
  • Troubleshoot equipment and process issues to minimize downtime
  • Follow all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements
  • Support training and guidance of less-experienced operators
  • Participate in continuous improvement and 5S activities
