Be Part of the Bigger Picture: Your work directly supports land vehicles, aircraft, and space systems that defend and explore our world. We are seeking a detail-oriented Assembler to assemble aluminum piece parts into complete assemblies that will be prepared for the dip-brazing process. The ideal candidate will be skilled in reading blueprint drawings, following detailed process sheets, and working accurately with small and medium-sized components.

Requirements

  • High School (High school diploma) or GED
  • 1–2 years of experience in manufacturing, production, finishing, or parts marking roles.
  • Experience in mechanical assembly or manufacturing preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions with strong attention to detail.
  • Good manual dexterity and comfort working with aluminum components.
  • Reliable attendance and willingness to work 2nd shift.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble aluminum piece parts into full assemblies according to blueprint drawings and specifications.
  • Follow detailed process sheets, fixturing instructions, and assembly sequences.
  • Verify part alignment, fit, and orientation prior to sending assemblies to dip brazing.
  • Use basic hand tools and measurement devices to ensure precision and quality.
  • Maintain accuracy and consistency when working with multiple part configurations.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, inspectors, and lead personnel.
  • Adhere to all safety requirements, PPE guidelines, and shop policies.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area throughout the shift.
  • Perform assigned tasks reliably on 2nd shift.
