About The Position

The Production Operator II at North Atlantic Industries is responsible for processing daily production tasks using computers, following detailed instructions, and maintaining a clean work environment. Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Fluency in writing, speaking, and understanding English
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Computer literacy
• Experience working in production and PCB Assembly
• Familiarity with assembly tools and Through hole and Surface mount Technology
• Familiarity with Surface-Mount Technology (SMT) electronic components and assembly process
• Familiarity with using hand tools, screwdrivers, pliers, cutters, etc.
• Conscientious regarding quality, time management, teamwork, and safety
• Flexibility to train and move between functional areas

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Surface-Mount Technology (SMT)
• Familiarity with assembly tools

Responsibilities

• Set up and label SMT products
• Prepare components, including masking and using different types of adhesives
• Perform mechanical assembly
• Conduct through hole and SMT hand soldering and rework
• Interpret IPC-A-610 standards for acceptability and customer specifications
