As a Machine Operator with HMI, you will learn the unique trade of glass manufacturing. This role combines the skills and ability of a person who is mechanically inclined with an artistic edge which sets our product apart from the rest. Responsible for learning all tasks associated with assigned tempering production line station.
Assists in maintaining paperwork that was placed on the glass during the cutting process and keeps it in order to ensure it returns to the correct piece of glass.
Performs inspections on all glass as it is moved from each machine to check for quality issues. If quality issues are discovered, follows procedure to have issue(s) assessed by an authorized individual.
Assists with keeping the floor clean of tripping hazards and mops up water puddles as needed.
Assists as needed in other departmental functions and housekeeping duties.
Ensures working environment is clean and safe.
All other duties as assigned.

Ability to read a tape measure and identify written measurements.
Operates machinery including saws, drills, and power tools.
Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
Ability to work well with team and under pressure.

Warehouse and/or construction background a plus.
