Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 2+ years of experience in a mechanical or industrial plant environment
  • Demonstrated mechanical and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Computer experience with MS Office suite
  • Strong team player with an ability to function in a multidisciplinary environment
  • Ability to lift 55 pounds
  • Pre-employment drug screen and background check required.

Nice To Haves

  • A.A./B.S. or a related degree in a scientific or technical field preferred
  • Experience with automated process control systems or similar technologies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
  • Collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills to work seamlessly with cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

  • Operate production equipment safely and efficiently to support enzyme manufacturing processes.
  • Monitor equipment performance and production parameters to ensure optimal output and quality standards.
  • Utilize the Delta V process control system (a digital automation system) to manage and adjust production operations.
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues promptly and collaborate with maintenance teams to minimize downtime.
  • Perform routine checks and record operational data to maintain compliance with safety and quality protocols.
  • Work closely with engineers to identify process improvements and implement optimization strategies.
  • Follow all company safety guidelines and standard operating procedures to maintain a secure work environment.
