The Post Production Operator II is responsible for ensuring the quality and accuracy of production processes on the 3rd shift. This role involves following safety rules, working in a fast-paced environment, and collaborating with management and production personnel to achieve the goal of zero accidents. The operator will check work orders, perform quality checks, complete necessary paperwork, and ensure the correct materials and tools are used. Additional responsibilities include producing labels, making cartons, assigning lot numbers, limiting scrap, troubleshooting production lines, and providing training to team members as needed.

  • Follow all safety rules and procedures.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborate with local management and production personnel to achieve the 'My Goal is Zero Accidents' objective.
  • Check all work orders/specification sheets for specific work instructions.
  • Perform hourly quality checks and double checks for accuracy.
  • Accurately complete all paperwork as required by ISO, GMP, and HACCP.
  • Collect retains during hourly quality checks for Quality Control inspection.
  • Inspect work for accuracy, completeness, and professional look.
  • Perform random quality checks every 5 to 10 minutes to ensure product specifications.
  • Ensure correct material, packaging supplies, and quality control tools are being used.
  • Produce labels for cartons/spools and check for accuracy.
  • Make cartons/spools for product when needed.
  • Assign lot numbers.
  • Limit scrap and wasting of material.
  • Change a line over to another part/style number.
  • Troubleshoot the line.
  • Provide training or help to other employees when needed.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Fluent in English, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, work orders, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to print simple sentences and legibly complete reports.
  • Ability to follow and understand verbal instructions.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
  • Ability to compute rate, ratios, and percentages to practical situations.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
