About The Position

The Production Operator I position is a full-time role that involves working under general supervision to ensure the safe and efficient production of gas and condensate from wells. The operator will be responsible for following safety policies, conducting regular well checks, performing maintenance on field and well equipment, and troubleshooting issues. The role requires a working knowledge of safety processes and the ability to operate equipment related to oil and gas production. The operator will also be accountable for managing fluids on assigned routes and ensuring the accuracy of production reports.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least one (1) year of related experience.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to operate manual tools related to well maintenance.
• Basic math skills for calculating tank volumes and gas flow rates.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to work independently under general supervision.
• Ability to follow objectives and instructions set by the supervisor.
• Confidence to ask questions and obtain information from relevant sources.
• Ability to work professionally with Land Owners, Operators, and teams.

Responsibilities

• Follow all Safety, Health, and Environmental policies and procedures.
• Perform evaluations and complete activities associated with gas and condensate production from wells.
• Conduct regular well checks and monitor daily operations.
• Perform general repairs and maintenance of field and well equipment.
• Review flow meter readings, pressures, and production volumes for reports.
• Apply safety processes and procedures in high-pressure and high-temperature environments.
• Monitor gas production and oil inventory using the SCADA system.
• Manage all fluids on assigned route and ensure accuracy of oil run tickets.
• Troubleshoot moderately complex issues and implement approved solutions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
