Production Operator
About The Position
As a Production Operator I for our Agricultural Products business unit located in Southwest St. Louis County, youwill build a meaningful career while supporting BASF’s St. Louis, MO manufacturing operations.This is a greatopportunity to join our team working in a challenging and dynamic manufacturing environment. The Productionteam, which includes operators, blenders, leads, and supervisors, with varying backgrounds, ensures that ourplant operates in a safe and efficient manner.During your 10-hour shift as a Production Operator, you will Work a 10-hour shift, from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Thursday.
Requirements
- Have a High School Diploma or GED.
Nice To Haves
- Preferably has 1 year of production experience.
- Possess intermediate computer skills (preferred).
- Are mechanically inclined (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Have the ability to setup, operate, monitor and adjust production related equipment to assure safe operationand product quality.
- Be knowledgeable of and follow all Environmental, Health, and Safety practices
- Control product quality through communicating item damage or off spec condition that exist to Quality Control.
- Maintain Housekeeping and 5S sustainability.
- Capable of being crossed trained in other production work-related areas and processes.
