About The Position

The Production Operator I position is a full-time role based in Pennsboro, WV. This position involves working under general supervision to ensure the safe and efficient production of gas and condensate from wells. The operator will be responsible for conducting regular well checks, monitoring production, performing maintenance, and troubleshooting issues related to field and well equipment. The role requires adherence to safety policies and procedures, as well as effective communication and teamwork with various stakeholders.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least one (1) year of related experience.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to operate manual tools related to well maintenance.
• Basic math skills for calculating tank volumes and gas flow rates.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and self-starter with the ability to work independently.
• Ability to follow objectives and instructions set by the supervisor.
• Confidence to ask questions and obtain information from relevant sources.
• Capable of working professionally with Land Owners, Operators, and teams.

Responsibilities

• Follow all Safety, Health, and Environmental policies and procedures.
• Perform evaluations and complete activities associated with gas and condensate production from wells.
• Conduct regular well checks and make general repairs and maintenance of field and well equipment.
• Accurately review flow meter readings, pressures, and production volumes for reports.
• Monitor gas production and oil inventory on the SCADA system.
• Manage all fluids on assigned route and ensure accuracy of oil run tickets.
• Troubleshoot moderately complex, non-routine issues and problem wells.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
