About The Position

Leprino Foods is seeking a Production Operator to help continue their successful trend in the global cheese and nutrition markets through quality of product and food safety at their Tracy, California production facility. The company has a competitive starting rate of pay for this role at $27.48 per hour, which increases to $28.48 upon completion of 90 working days.

Requirements

• Must be able to meet shift/schedule requirements.
• Must be willing to work necessary overtime as needed.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to speak, read, write, and comprehend basic English language.
• Must be able to perform essential job functions of position with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Feed and load cheese, fold bags, rework and re-dice, hand pack cheese and perform general housekeeping duties.
• Verbally communicate with co-workers and promote good teamwork.
• Recognize quality control problems such as frozen/soft cheese, extraneous, and proper blend considerations.
• Perform duties in a safe manner using Personal Protection Equipment (PPE).
• Maintain clean work area according to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safety policies.
• Monitor cheese quality during packaging.
• Sort product visually and using a metal detection system.
• Keep records.
• Hand palletize product.
• Operate manual and motorized pallet jacks.
• Perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
