About The Position

Idaho Forest Group is seeking a hard worker who pays attention to detail, champions safety, and enjoys working as part of a team. The position involves serving as a relief operator for a variety of functions, machinery, and workstations, assisting with mill clean-up, and learning the safe and efficient operation of each assigned machine. All duties must be performed in accordance with rules, regulations, and job safety analyses (JSA).

Requirements

• Ability to work various shifts, days, and overtime.
• Ability to use motorized equipment and hand tools (broom, shovel, etc.).
• Ability to adapt to various weather conditions, loud conditions, and airborne particles (sawdust).
• Pass a hair follicle drug test, a physical, and a background check.

Nice To Haves

• A high school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a relief operator for a wide variety of functions, machinery, and workstations.
• Assist with mill clean-up until promoted into a more advanced and/or specialized role.
• Learn the safe and efficient operation of each machine assigned.
• Comprehend and perform all duties in accordance with rules, regulations, and JSA's.
