About The Position

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Produce a quality American Trim product by following the procedures outlined below and other duties as assigned: Read and follow instructions for operations procedure on various machinery and processes. Operate machines to feed, cut, form, punch holes, bend and mold metal stock. Record Statistical Process Control (SPC) on all materials when required. Visually inspect finished product and immediately notify proper department or supervisor if problems arise. Package materials for shipping as needed assuring correct count, proper boxes and labeling. Shrink wrap material as needed. Empty metal waste receptacle when required. Racking and Un-Racking various products from the assembly line (Plater or Powder Coater Lines). Load washer. Clean metal debris out of the machines as it accumulates and obstructs machinery - following required safety procedure. Welding or riveting as required. Any miscellaneous procedures needed to keep machinery working properly, and to produce a quality product. Assigned duties as Production Coordinator as requested by supervisor. (See Production Coordinator list if applicable). Maintains a clean and safe work area at all times. Other duties assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

  • Ability to complete Statistical Process Control Charts (SPC)
  • Reading and following simple instructions
  • Basic math
  • Minor problems solving
  • Ability and willingness to maintain flexibility in job assignments
