About The Position

Agri-Mark/McCadam/Cabot Creamery is seeking full-time Production Operators for the third shift at our plant in Cabot, VT. This role is integral to our mission of producing high-quality dairy products, including Specialty VT Cheddars, Flavored and Light Cheeses, Greek-Style Yogurt, Cottage Cheese, and Sour Cream. Our Production Operators will work under the direction of the Team Lead and/or Production Supervisor, ensuring that all tasks are performed in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices and the Food Safety and Food Quality requirements of the SQF program.

Requirements

• Must be able to lift up to 70lbs.
• Must be able to stoop, kneel, and crouch.
• Ability to stand for up to 10 hours a day.

Responsibilities

• Perform all work-related tasks using Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Follow Food Safety and Food Quality requirements of the SQF program.
• Communicate and troubleshoot any issues to the production supervisor or team lead.
• Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
• Handle situations or problems with professionalism and direction.
• Perform basic repairs as needed.
• Report all safety issues and incidents to the Supervisor immediately.
• Understand the role of the SQF Practitioner in food safety decisions.

Benefits

• Starting hourly rate of $20.97.
• Supplemental pay for working difficult shifts: $2.00 per hour for hours worked between 11:00pm and 7:00am, and $3.00 per hour for hours worked between Friday at 11:00pm and Sunday at 11:00pm.
• Supplemental pay may be stacked with current shift differentials.
