About The Position

The Combo Production Operator is responsible for producing high-quality inks for customers using various machines and equipment. This role involves learning all production processes, operating PLC-driven Human Machine Interface (HMI) equipment, and ensuring product quality and safety throughout the production process. The operator will work primarily on the 2nd shift, focusing on batch production, quality control, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Experience with quality control and safety procedures
• Ability to repeatedly lift 55 lbs and stand for long periods
• 1+ years of experience in a production/manufacturing environment
• Experience with mixing, measuring, and/or weighing ingredients
• Successful completion of drug screen and background check

Responsibilities

• Review and understand batch tickets
• Gather and weigh ingredients using scale operation
• Combine ingredients in a designated sequence
• Provide samples to the Quality Control lab
• Pack the product into designated containers and label them
• Clean equipment and the plant, and dispose of waste
• Wash tubs after each use
• Operate sit down/standup forklift
• Operate and troubleshoot mixing equipment
• Train other employees
• Ensure ingredient traceability
• Use SAP for inventory look-up and cycle count duties
• Conduct preliminary quality checks
• Wear appropriate PPE and maintain a clean work area
• Report near miss incidents and improvement opportunities
• Participate in plant teams and safety initiatives
• Follow all standard operating procedures (ISO)
