About The Position

The Production Operator - 1st shift is responsible for operating mostly routine production machinery in accordance with prints and specifications provided. This role involves performing mostly routine activities that produce the required quantity of parts within established specifications and tolerances. The operator will measure finished parts with precision tools, ensuring compliance with function, quality, and cosmetic specifications, while maintaining logs and records of units produced. Any errors resulting in rejected or discarded pieces must be reported. The operator is also responsible for inspecting equipment prior to use to ensure proper setup and alignment, performing mostly basic and routine adjustments and maintenance, and maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly work area while following safety regulations. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

• Typically possesses a high school diploma (or equivalent).
• 1-2 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to follow directions and work well in a team.
• Ability to interpret and translate job specifications for production machineries.
• Solid understanding of the production equipment.
