About The Position

The position involves operating all manufacturing equipment efficiently and safely, ensuring the proper production and packaging of products for external customers. The role requires maintaining good housekeeping practices and adhering to safety and quality standards throughout the production process. The candidate will be responsible for cleaning equipment and work areas, assisting in changeovers, and performing other duties as required by supervisors or managers.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Experience working in a Manufacturing Environment
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Understand plant safety guidelines and pass all required safety training
• Must be able to understand verbal and written instructions
• Troubleshoot problems and report issues
• Must work well in a team environment

Responsibilities

• Operate all manufacturing equipment efficiently and safely
• Safely operate the machine to properly produce product and follow proper procedures for packaging to external customers
• Remove or shift materials and/or finished products to facilitate proper flow
• Demonstrates ability to meet production standards on specific assignments within required time
• Maintains good housekeeping and clean work areas in assigned space
• Responsible for safety and quality throughout production
• Clean equipment and area before, during, and after shift
• Maintain clean work area through good housekeeping practices
• Follow proper sorting and restacking instructions given by the quality department
• Assist in changeovers when called up by supervisor or front-end operators
• Performs other duties as required by Supervisor or Manager
