About The Position

Airgas is Hiring for a Loader 1st Shift in Abilene, TX! Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 6:00 am to 3:00 pm Key Responsibilities: Loading and Unloading: Accurately and safely load and unload shuttle trucks and freight trucks, verifying cargo against manifests or shipping documents. Material Handling: Move, sort, and stack cylinders, pallets, and other materials within the facility and yard. Yard Organization: Maintain cleanliness, order, and organization of the storage yard, ensuring proper segregation and accessibility of products. Safety Compliance: Adhere to all Airgas safety protocols, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and operating material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts) in a safe manner. Assist with inventory, general housekeeping, and help customers when necessary. Benefits We care about and support our Airgas Families. Requirements

Ability to perform very heavy work – routinely lifts 25 – 75 lbs., and occasionally lifts 76 to greater than 100 lbs.
Candidates must have valid employment authorization in the U.S. and must not require visa sponsorship now or in the future. This position is not open for non-immigrant visa sponsorship.
Ability to become forklift certified.
Ability to read and comprehend all written documents and instructions.
Must be able to work overtime as needed.
