Control or operate machinery or equipment to assist with manufacturing, packaging, and other steps along a production line. May be expected to handle heavy machinery. Requirements

• ability to read/understand shop floor papers, understand technical manuals, and operate machinery.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift materials (often up to 50 lbs.)
• Attention to detail
• Ability to communicate, work with a team, and report issues to supervision.

Responsibilities

• Machine Operation: Set up, operate, and shut down manufacturing machinery, including extruders or computer-controlled tools.
• Quality Control: Inspect finished products to ensure they me specifications.
• Maintenance & Cleaning: Perform routine preventative maintenance, troubleshoot malfunctions, and keep the work area clean.
• Monitoring & Efficiency: Monitor production processes to optimize performance, reduce waste, and minimize downtime.
• Reporting & Documentation: Record data regarding materials used and products produced, ensuring accurate documentation.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and health regulations to prevent hazards.
