About The Position

CJ ENM America is currently seeking enthusiastic and driven interns to join the Music Business & Partnerships team for Summer 2026 focused on (but not limited to) KCON LA, the world’s largest K-pop Fan and Artist Festival. This paid, part-time internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in both Convention Production & Operations and Brand Partnerships. As an intern, you will work closely with the two teams to support a range of tasks including event preparation, sponsor & exhibitor booth management, on-site service provider management, hospitality management, safety measures, and event logistics, providing invaluable exposure to the fast-paced event production environment. This is a paid part time internship up to 30 hours max per week that is located in-office in Culver City (no hybrid or remote).

Requirements

  • Must be currently enrolled in a college/university with at least one active class during the semester/quarter prior to the internship, OR a recent graduate (within the last six months).
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must have unrestricted work authorization.
  • Fluency in English (reading, writing, and speaking) is a must.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills (Microsoft Suite, Outlook, Google, Dropbox, Adobe, etc).
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines while paying attention to important details.
  • Strong multitasking abilities, with the capability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
  • Ability to thrive in high-stress, high-volume situations while maintaining organization and focus.
  • Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset, and strong motivation.
  • Passionate about K-pop and Korean entertainment, with strong interest in the industry is highly preferred.
  • Prior Entertainment (concerts, conventions, music, film, or agencies) experience is highly preferred.
  • Prior Production & Operation (internships, clubs, or volunteer work) experience is highly preferred.
  • Fluency in Korean is not a requirement, but a plus.

Nice To Haves

  • Passionate about K-pop and Korean entertainment, with strong interest in the industry is highly preferred.
  • Prior Entertainment (concerts, conventions, music, film, or agencies) experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the event preparation process for U.S. brand partners as it relates to sponsor booth activations.
  • Act as a point of contact for external brand partners and agencies on booth production, venue service providers, exhibitor document guidelines, event load-in/load-out, hospitality, security and other event protocols.
  • Track the entire process, ensuring that critical deadlines are met with great attention to detail.
  • Assist in event execution for U.S brand partners, especially in the team’s rapid response to unexpected on-site issues, time-sensitive deliverables, and other tasks which ensure the accurate and successful delivery of sponsorship benefits.
  • Assist in executing essential operational tasks for upcoming events, including supporting hospitality, catering, staffing, security, vendor communication, and safety protocols.
  • Help implement and monitor safety protocols, crowd control measures, and assist in ingress/egress flow as outlined by the Music Business team.
  • Support event logistics, including maintaining detailed records (via Excel, Google Sheets, Airtable), processing invoices, and tracking event-related expenses.
  • Assist in the execution of onsite production and operational tasks during event setup period and in-event execution.
  • Collaborate with the team on business development ideation, brainstorming new event concepts, opportunities, and strategies to expand CJ ENM USA’s brand and presence within the industry.
  • Take on additional projects and tasks assigned by the Music Business and Partnerships teams.
