About The Position

The NBP Production Mixer position at Napoleon's Bakery Plant is a non-exempt role responsible for mixing ingredients for daily production runs. The individual will report to the Bakery Plant Manager or Assistant Manager and is expected to have prior experience in mixing batters and laminated doughs, along with a solid understanding of basic baking principles. The role requires good judgment in adjusting production and troubleshooting quality concerns.

Requirements

• Flexible scheduling, available for any shift and any day
• Ability to lift 25 to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand for the entire shift
• Ability to perform simple math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and fractions)
• Good planning and organizational skills
• Must pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
• Must have passed a TB test dated/issued within 12 months of hire or at age 16 or older
• Previous bakery experience and dough mixing experience required
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Responsibilities

• Operate various bakery equipment such as large mixers and reversible sheeter safely and efficiently
• Mix various types of batters and doughs, including laminated doughs and Chiffon Batters
• Execute efficient, high-quality, and timely production of items
• Troubleshoot quality issues or concerns during production
• Train new team members
• Assist on oven, bread bench, or any production position as needed
• Communicate daily with management regarding production issues and needs
• Maintain awareness of safety policies and notify management of safety concerns
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation practices and standards at all times
