Weekend Production MIG Welder
About The Position
As a Production MIG Welder on our weekend shift, you will ensure quality and timely welding and be able to operate within the safety standards required for the welding procedures and controls. Privately owned, headquartered in Westfield, Indiana and operating eight additional global facilities, IMMI is also home to IMMI VIP steering wheels and CAPE, the world's leading state-of-the-art testing facility. HOURS: Fridays 6:30am - 5:00pm and Saturdays 7:00am - 3:00pm
Requirements
- Previous welding knowledge accompanied by the appropriate education
- Understand and apply written and oral instructions
- Ability to work in a team environment and effectively communicate
- Must comply with legal and corporate responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Welding products according to work instructions and ensure compliance with the appropriate quality standards
- Monitor welding, burning, and fitting process to ensure parts are not overheated or damaged from warping, distortion, expansion, or shrinkage
- Deliver daily production output demands and communicate timely with the appropriate personnel on any problems or delays
- Assist at a variety of workstations throughout the work process as needed
