  • Maintain and troubleshoot Automatrix machines, ensuring that parts meet production specifications.
  • Make real-time machine adjustments to ensure smooth operation and minimize defects.
  • Replace worn or broken components on Automatrix machines, such as belts, rollers, gears, and sensors.
  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) tasks on Automatrix machines, ensuring that all equipment is in optimal working condition.
  • Conduct regular inspections, lubricate parts, check machine settings, and replace consumable parts as needed to reduce the risk of breakdowns.
  • Accurately enter downtime events into Power BI, ensuring that data is updated in real time for performance analysis.
  • Identify the root causes of downtime and work with the team to implement corrective actions that improve machine reliability and reduce future interruptions.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues on Automatrix machines, utilizing both manual and automated tools to detect faults.
  • Respond quickly to machine breakdowns and ensure the repair is carried out promptly to minimize production delays.
  • Work closely with production operators to identify potential machine issues before they affect production quality.
  • Communicate any necessary machine adjustments or maintenance needs to ensure parts remain in specification and meet production targets.
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, machine adjustments, repairs, and parts replacements.
  • Document downtime reasons and resolutions, ensuring that all entries in Power BI are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Actively participate in process improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing equipment performance, reducing downtime, and increasing production efficiency.
  • Provide feedback on potential upgrades or modifications to machinery that could improve functionality or ease of maintenance.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety standards and regulations during maintenance and machine adjustments.
  • Adhere to lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures and other safety protocols to ensure a safe work environment for yourself and your colleagues.
  • High school diploma or equivalent combination of work experience and education required; vocational training in mechanical maintenance, industrial technology, or a related field preferred.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience maintaining, adjusting, and troubleshooting automated machinery, ideally with experience working on Automatrix or similar equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of machine mechanics, including troubleshooting and repairing mechanical systems, gear drives, motors, sensors, and pneumatic systems.
  • Familiarity with entering downtime data into Power BI or similar reporting tools; ability to generate and interpret downtime reports.
  • Ability to diagnose complex mechanical issues and implement effective solutions to keep machines running efficiently.
  • Experience with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment, including the use of measuring instruments to ensure parts are within specification.
  • High attention to detail when making machine adjustments and performing maintenance to ensure parts meet production standards.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with team members and report downtime accurately.
  • Ability to lift heavy components, work in confined spaces, and perform physical tasks that require manual dexterity and stamina.
  • Prior experience with Automatrix machines or similar automated production equipment is highly preferred.
  • Any relevant certifications in machinery maintenance, industrial mechanics, or manufacturing operations are a plus.
  • Basic understanding of electrical systems and PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) is a plus but not required.
