Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required; vocational training or Associate degree preferred.
1+ year of related experience in manufacturing, warehouse, production control, or material handling; equivalent combination of education and experience considered.
Experience with inventory systems, ERP systems, or material tracking software.
Understanding of production flow, WIP tracking, and material control processes.
Ability to follow detailed work instructions and standard operating procedures.

Responsibilities

Move production and other materials into and out of storage, production areas, and designated locations following standard work instructions.
Monitor Work-in-Process (WIP) to ensure material availability aligns with production schedules.
Communicate part and material status using automated inventory systems and manual reporting methods.
Identify and resolve routine material discrepancies using established procedures.
Coordinate with production, planning, and logistics functions to prioritize and expedite materials to prevent schedule delays.
Maintain compliance with internal material handling and inventory control procedures.
Perform duties under general supervision.
