About The Position

The Production Material Handler is responsible for safely and efficiently moving, tracking, picking, and restocking materials for the production lines using a forklift and other material handling equipment. This role supports production operations by ensuring accurate physical and system inventory movement, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and meeting productivity goals and quality standards.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Prior production or material handling experience preferred.
Experience with Microsoft Office.
Experience with ERP Systems.
Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.
Strong understanding of warehouse safety practices.
Strong math and reading skills.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Strong ad hoc problem-solver.
Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to [50–75] pounds.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
Ability to operate warehouse equipment for moderate durations.

Responsibilities

Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
Move, stack, and organize materials in designated warehouse locations.
Verify materials against production documents and ERP System for accuracy and deficiencies.
Pick, stage, and prepare production line for assembly.
Perform equipment inspections and report maintenance issues as required.
Maintain accurate inventory records via warehouse ERP systems and documentation.
Follow all safety procedures, OSHA regulations, and company policies.
Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits as needed.
May be required to assist with assembly line as needed.
