Requirements

3–5 years of production or operations management experience in a manufacturing environment.
Proven leadership and team development skills in a high-paced setting.
Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational abilities.
Working knowledge of OSHA standards, LOTO procedures, and PPE compliance.
Experience interpreting production data and implementing process improvements.
Excellent communication, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills.
Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and climbing.
Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor environments in varying temperatures.
Exposure to welding, grinding, paint fumes, and industrial noise.
Must use required PPE at all time.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage production supervisors and staff to achieve daily goals in safety, quality, and output.
Set clear performance expectations, provide regular coaching, and ensure consistent accountability.
Develop team members through ongoing training, skill-building, and performance feedback.
Oversee attendance, performance, and adherence to company policies.
Foster a positive and productive work culture built on communication, teamwork, and respect.
Oversee all aspects of production scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow.
Monitor output and downtime to ensure on-time delivery and optimal productivity.
Review production data and implement solutions to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
Coordinate with maintenance, quality, and materials teams to ensure smooth operations.
Maintain a clean, organized, and well-equipped production floor.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on cost savings, process optimization, and product quality.
Ensure full compliance with OSHA standards, company safety policies, and environmental regulations.
Promote a safety-first culture by enforcing PPE use, LOTO procedures, and hazard prevention.
Support and oversee incident investigations, near-miss reporting, and corrective action plans.
Maintain awareness of hazardous materials, DEQ requirements, and fire safety protocols.
Lead by example — reinforcing safe behavior and holding all employees accountable.
