About The Position

This role offers a range of $100,000 to $120,000 annually. Actual compensation will be based on qualifications such as experience, education, certifications, and skills, as well as geographic considerations. We are seeking a Production Manager to work at one of our facilities. INX's location makes the ink on 100% of all beer and beverage cans manufactured in the United States. As Production Manager you will be responsible for: Planning, organizing, directing and running optimum day-to-day operations to exceed our customers’ expectations Increasing production, assets capacity & flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs & maintaining current quality standards Being responsible for production output, product quality, and on-time shipping Allocating resources effectively and fully utilize assets to produce optimal results Implementing strategies in alignment with strategic initiatives and provide a clear sense of direction and focus Monitoring operations and trigger corrective actions Encouraging a trusting relationship within workgroup and promote cross-functionality between all departments Developing systems and processes that track and optimize productivity and standards, metrics and performance targets to ensure effective return on assets Staying up-to-date with latest production management best practices and concepts Being committed/involved in the (TPM) Total Productive Maintenance System and Processes as a TPM Pillar Coordinator Collecting and analyze data to find places of waste or overtime Addressing employees’ issues or grievances Supervising Production dept. employees and coordinates employee schedules Directing the development of new and improved methods, tools, equipment and procedures Assessing customer quality complaints and quality reports as it pertains to production Working with department supervisors to develop solutions for problems & improve Production efficiencies

Requirements

  • Have 3 to 7 years of management or supervisory experience in manufacturing
  • Have an bachelor degree or equivalent from a 4-year college preferably in Engineering or Management
  • Have manufacturing, warehouse and supervisory/managerial experience
  • Demonstrate mechanical skills and knowledge of Production processes
  • Have excellent math skills, as well as oral, written, reading and comprehension skills in order to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
  • Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Suite programs (MS Office) and other computer skills
  • Show prior experience leading, coaching, and developing a team and delivering performance metrics
  • Demonstrate strong skills, knowledge, and capability in Manufacturing principles such as OEE, Lean, or TPM

  • SAP Knowledge
  • Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups
  • Proficiency in Spanish, Polish, or sign language
  • Manufacturing Program Planning and Coordination knowledge
  • UV/TP/OSF (Ink) Manufacturing knowledge
  • Leadership experience in a production or manufacturing environment
  • Experience with Inventory Control
  • Experience with Change Management
  • Previous experience within the Ink Industry
