About The Position

Novo Health Services offers linen management solutions to the healthcare industry. NOVO Health keenly focuses on safety and infection control and provides its partner hospitals with a value-driven linen management control system that measures and monitors linen utilization by department to eliminate excess internal costs. NOVO's wide range of service programs offer a variety of options to provide a seamless, single source distribution system. NOVO's regional healthcare linen facilities are HLAC accredited and operate with state-of-the-art processing equipment and processes. 2nd Shift - 6pm-4:30am Novo Health Services is seeking a results-driven Production Manager to lead daily operations within our industrial laundry facility in St. Louis. This role is responsible for ensuring the efficient, safe, and timely processing of linens and garments, while consistently meeting quality standards and customer expectations. The Production Manager will oversee production teams, maintain compliance, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to maximize productivity and control costs.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Business, or a related field preferred
  • 3–5 years of supervisory or management experience in industrial laundry, manufacturing, or a similar production environment
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in production tracking systems and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment and across flexible schedules

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred

Responsibilities

  • Supervise, train, and schedule production staff across multiple shifts
  • Oversee daily workflow and monitor production metrics to ensure efficiency, quality, and on-time delivery
  • Ensure proper operation, care, and maintenance of equipment and facility infrastructure
  • Manage inventory and usage of chemicals, detergents, and production supplies
  • Partner with maintenance, logistics, and customer service teams to align operational goals
  • Enforce health, safety, and environmental standards in compliance with OSHA and company policies
  • Troubleshoot operational challenges and implement timely corrective actions
  • Uphold company policies related to safety, attendance, conduct, and performance
  • Prepare and analyze production reports to identify improvement opportunities
  • Lead or support continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and Six Sigma
  • Promote a positive, accountable, and safety-focused team culture
