About The Position

We are looking for a highly skilled Production Manager to lead, coordinate, and continuously improve our manufacturing operations. This position requires someone who can manage the entire fabrication process from planning to delivery—ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, on time, and to the highest quality standards. The Production Manager will oversee all production lines, guide teams toward peak performance, and collaborate closely with engineering, project management, purchasing, and leadership. This role demands strong leadership, operational discipline, and the ability to navigate day-to-day challenges with confidence and professionalism. Your ability to make informed decisions, motivate your team, and resolve issues quickly will be key to your success.

Requirements

Extensive knowledge of production management, manufacturing processes, and workflow planning.
Strong understanding of quality control standards and health/safety regulations.
Solid experience evaluating staff performance, managing budgets, and analyzing key production metrics.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple departments.
Strong leadership qualities and the ability to motivate diverse teams.
High attention to detail, strong organization skills, and a proactive problem-solving mindset.
Results-driven approach with a focus on efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
Proficiency in scheduling tools and Microsoft Projects.
Able to read and interpret mechanical, electrical, and piping drawings.
Bachelor’s degree OR equivalent years of directly relevant experience.
Minimum of 5 years of production management or closely related experience.

Nice To Haves

Industry-related experience in HVAC manufacturing, fabrication, metalwork, or similar fields preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide direct supervision, coaching, and performance evaluations for production personnel.
Promote a positive, accountable, and safety-focused culture.
Set clear expectations, communicate priorities, and ensure team alignment.
Ensure consistent and fair treatment of all employees per company policies and employment laws.
Oversee daily production operations to ensure output meets quality, safety, and delivery standards.
Organize and sequence workflow based on project specifications, deadlines, and resource availability.
Manage manpower loading, staffing levels, and shift schedules to maximize efficiency.
Coordinate production activities with engineering, quality, project management, and other departments.
Develop and implement procedures that enhance productivity and standardize best practices across all operations.
Monitor performance metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure products meet or exceed all quality standards, customer requirements, and regulatory expectations.
Enforce health and safety regulations and maintain a hazard-free work environment.
Conduct regular shop-floor reviews to identify risks, eliminate inefficiencies, and maintain production readiness.
Identify operational bottlenecks and lead corrective actions to resolve issues quickly.
Analyze labor, material usage, and equipment performance to optimize output and reduce waste.
Recommend and implement improvements that increase efficiency, consistency, and throughput.
Lead root-cause analysis for recurring issues and develop long-term solutions.
Report production status, challenges, and KPIs to upper management.
Support strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities.
Ensure alignment between production schedules and commitments to internal and external customers.
