The Production Manager reports to the Store Manager and handles all production goal tracking, quality and quantity checks as well as managing the retail production staff. This position acts as primary key holder and fills in for the Store Manager when they are out of the store.

  • Achieves daily, weekly, and monthly production goals for the store, reaching out to senior management when short on donations.
  • Ensures every rack/cart of processed goods receives a quality, quantity review.
  • Performs a salvage audit daily to ensure the quality of the donated goods on the sales floor and that quality donations are not in salvage.
  • Communicates with the store management team the Central Warehouse needs to ensure production and sales goals will be met.
  • Sorts and ensures training for E-Commerce categories, brands, etc.
  • Handles computer interaction for emails, reports, and other required communication to management.
  • Trains and coaches new and existing team members to follow the Production Manual Guidelines, Pictures Process Maps (PPM’s), production metrics and pricing guidelines. Holds staff accountable for meeting processing goals.
  • Ensures quality customer service is present and provided by all team members in a timely and courteous manner to all customers, donors, and other team members.
  • Ensures that the store surrounding premises are kept clean and free of safety hazards, and safety procedures are understood and followed by all team members.
  • Acts as Store Manager when Store Manager is out of the store.
  • Collects all found money and donation jewelry daily and hands in daily. Processes necessary paperwork and subsequent functions. Completes other assignments or projects designated by the store management team.
  • Proven reliability in meeting attendance expectations.
  • Must be able to operate and obtain certification for the use of the stacker.
  • Must be able to continuously perform repetitive work, at a set pace.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite software including a strong emphasis on Word and Excel.
  • Must possess strong interpersonal skills with excellent communication skills.
  • Exhibits a high level of integrity and business ethics.
  • Exhibits a high level of adaptability and flexibility.
  • High school/ GED completion preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of retail production supervisory experience preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years goal setting and tracking experience preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years handling salvage or similar types of audits preferred.
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish a plus)
