Requirements

• Demonstrated decision-making ability in the absence of complete information.
• Well organized with good math skills.
• Ability to read and understand production equipment manuals and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Manage staff and operations of the plant.
• Direct production and related inventory, maintenance, and safety functions.
• Ensure the plant operates cost-effectively and meets customer satisfaction.
• Maintain a culture of safety within the plant.
• Coordinate production scheduling.
• Plan and direct daily operating and maintenance functions of the facility.
• Maintain manufactured product inventories at required levels.
• Develop and supervise plant employees to achieve desired results.
• Handle performance issues promptly and fairly.
• Evaluate and assist with the development of new products.
• Monitor operating efficiencies of plant facilities and equipment.
• Plan and make regular replacement purchases for maintenance supplies and tools.
• Manage parts inventory.
• Perform regular quality inspections and controls of manufactured products.
