SUMMARY: This position is responsible for safety of the Sanitation Team and to assist in controlling expenses; provide for the compliance and coordination of the federal meat inspection and OSHA requirements; interpret and enforce company policies; maintain non- union program; assist in the determination of manpower needs and makes recommendations; prepare and maintain prescribed records and reports to ensure that they reflect conditions accurately; solve problems in an effective manner with sound follow up; work with department heads to meet production goals and metrics goals while at the same time ensuring the maintenance of labor standards and quality of performance and product; inspect and maintain a high degree of competence in the areas of housekeeping, safety sanitation security and food safety; manage evaluate and train supervisors in all facets including but not limited to; paperwork, time and attendance, discipline, motivation, turnover, absenteeism, safety, problem solving, etc. Accountable for areas of performance; safety, turnover, bid movement, Team Member morale and other duties as needed. Oversee all designated shift operations and any other responsibilities as deemed necessary by the plant manager.
