Responsibilities

  • Supervises activities of unit supervisors within a single production or service department.
  • Empowers all team members to deliver on quality, cost-competitive products, with 100% engagement and zero loss mindset.
  • Execution on Shift or Area through direct/indirect reports.
  • Implementation/Governance of Standards.
  • Management for Escalation (People, Process, and Asset/Equipment).
  • Management/Execution of Work Systems as intended (Coach, Teach, and Mentor).
  • Shift and Daily Coordination/Communication (Manpower, Production, & Maintenance).
  • Execution of Standardized Gemba Process.
  • People Safety (Floor Observation).
  • Product Quality (Proactive Audits).
  • Drive Continuous Improvement on Shift or Area through a business partnership.
  • Track and Improve People Pillar/Workstream.
  • Fill open positions.
  • Drive Turnover (Recognition, & Communication).
  • Training & Development.
  • Succession Planning.
  • Track and Improve Operational Efficiency/Performance.
  • Address downtime related to open mechanical or electrical issues.
  • Monitor change-over performance.
  • Track Process Loss: (Yield & Material Loss).

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years supervisor experience.
  • 6 years' experience in a production environment.
  • Bachelor's degree is required.
