About The Position

The Production Manager at Coca-Cola Bottling of Hawaii is responsible for overseeing the manufacturing process to ensure quality products are produced efficiently and safely. This role involves supervising production team members, adhering to schedules, and maintaining quality standards while managing resources effectively.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • 2 years experience in a production position strongly preferred.
  • Working knowledge of warehousing, forklift and pallet jack operations, and inventory procedures.
  • Ability to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules and operating instructions.
  • Ability to write reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to perform calculations such as proportions and percentages.
  • Experience managing people and budgets.
  • 5+ years supervising production staff preferred.
  • Basic computer and database application skills.
  • Experience working with ISO standards and audits.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of quality control processes.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations in a production setting.

Responsibilities

  • Staff, train, evaluate and develop team members.
  • Manage line efficiencies, key performance indicators and down time.
  • Manage within labor and OPEX budget.
  • Monitor the production process and adjust equipment or work practices according to standard operating procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with Company SOP's, HACCP, GMP, and safety policies.
  • Schedule sanitizing and cleaning assignments and monitor sanitation performance.
  • Utilize sanitation checklists and charts to verify activities are within required specifications.
  • Maintain facility audit readiness and ensure equipment is in working order.
  • Verify production line readiness at start-up and supervise change overs.
  • Work with QA to manage overall package and product quality.
  • Perform ISO and other internal audits.
  • Ensure effective utilization of PPE and adjust work schedules as needed.
