About The Position
Project Kuiper is Amazon’s low Earth orbit satellite broadband network. Its mission is to deliver fast, reliable internet to customers and communities around the world, and we’ve designed the system with the capacity, flexibility, and performance to serve a wide range of customers, from individual households to schools, hospitals, businesses, government agencies, and other organizations operating in locations without reliable connectivity. Project Kuiper is seeking a Production Manager to join the Space Hardware and Environmental Test team. This role will report to the Value Stream Leader and work closely with them to supervise a technician team that manufactures and tests space hardware. The individual will have strong leadership skills and be required to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment where communication and organization will be critical. This position will also utilize a variety of analytical tools as well as aid in creating a variety of laboratory procedures which they will help to draft and maintain. This will require supervisory duties as well as working as an operator in the manufacturing facility.
