The Production Management internship at Schreiber Foods offers students a unique opportunity to engage with plant leadership and participate in a variety of tasks aimed at enhancing production processes. This year-round internship is based on-site at the Green Bay, Wisconsin production plant, and is designed for students who are eager to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic environment. Interns will have the chance to work closely with the leadership team to understand production lines and processes, contributing to projects that focus on improving quality and productivity while ensuring food safety standards are met. Interns will assist in identifying customer requirements and effectively communicating these to the production team. They will collaborate with plant leadership to meet or exceed daily production goals, while also identifying and resolving process issues as they arise. A significant aspect of the role involves ensuring compliance with Food Safety and Food Quality Plans, interpreting customer requirements, and establishing and auditing critical control points and standard operating procedures. Interns will review incidents where procedures are not followed and determine appropriate corrective actions, thereby playing a crucial role in maintaining high standards of production. This internship not only provides practical experience but also allows students to contribute to real-world projects, participate in team meetings, and share their ideas. Interns will be exposed to various areas of the business, enhancing their understanding of the industry and building valuable relationships across different levels of the organization.
