About The Position

As a Production/Maintenance, you will perform a variety of work to maintain machines, mechanical equipment, and the structure of our facilities in good condition. Duties may involve machine repair, carpentry, painting, plumbing, and sheet metal work. What You Will Do: Performs maintenance and repairs of mechanical, electrical, and other physical structures. Maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs facility mechanical components and electrical systems. Performs machine repair and general preventative maintenance on equipment in compliance with preventative maintenance programs. Provides support in the development and implementation of facility and equipment upgrades. Maintains all paperwork to document repair and preventative maintenance work completed. Complies with SOPs (standard operating procedures), internal requirements, manufacturer's specifications, and safety policies. May perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D. in the US) or vocational/technical education in related discipline
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access certain necessary systems.
  • 5 years previous experience required in maintenance related position
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds as required.
  • Ability to wear kneepads, steel toe shoes, and other required PPE.

  • High knowledge in the use of forklift and scissor lift in a maintenance setting.
  • Ability to work flexible schedule including but not limited to nights, and weekends as needed.
