About The Position

What does a Production Maintenance Technician do at Swire Coca-Cola?Repair and maintain all assets within the production facility. The Maintenance Mechanic must identify, troubleshoot and repair problems that occur in production equipment and processes.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma (or GED) required or equivalent degree/certificate required
  • Must be able to learn and fully operate assigned production equipment
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must become forklift certified within 1 month of hire
  • Ability to perform essential functions with little or no supervision
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays as directed by the business
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot equipment problems and perform immediate repairs on production equipment in between shifts and line changes so that variations in product quality don't occur.
  • Schedule and conduct preventive maintenance to pro long the useful life of equipment. This is done regularly as assigned by the business.
  • Prior to production changes this employee performs equipment change-overs and production line set-ups to prepare for production.
  • Overhaul and install new equipment on to machines as directed by the business.
  • Rebuild, fabricate and manage parts inventory to ensure an adequate inventory
  • Attend meetings as assigned and assist with special projects and events
  • Performs other duties as assigned
