About The Position

Plans, organizes, leads, and directs maintenance activities & systems to optimize equipment effectiveness and to maintain warehouse facilities. Ensure that maintenance personnel execute procedures, processes, work instructions, etc. in the manner prescribed, while operating in a team based environment.

Requirements

High School Diploma or Equivalent
Must be a competent welder and torch operator.
Must be familiar with mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical components.
Able to disassemble, evaluate, repair and reassemble components back to manufacturer’s specifications.
Ability to use computers, printers and other associated equipment
Ability to complete transactions in Microsoft Dynamics AX (training available)

Responsibilities

Coaches and leads the maintenance workforce
Maintain all equipment and facilities necessary to perform work
Required utilization of computer systems, databases, data entry, record maintenance, electronic purchase order creation.
Diagnose problems, read prints or schematics, order parts and repair machinery with little supervision
Adhere to all safety procedures
Willingness to work both indoors and outdoors in all types of weather
Must be able to work flexible hours or shifts, including evenings and weekends when required with little or no supervision
Acts as liaison with outside contractors
Work with wide variety of equipment
Perform electrical, painting, and/or carpentry repairs of fixtures and equipment on company premises
Other duties as assigned.
