Learn more. Purpose of Job Review work notifications, verify accuracy, completeness, and priority. Evaluate work requests for Management of Change (MOC) items. Ensure troubleshooting by Production prior to Maintenance involvement. Validate scope and justification. Evaluate discretionary work and determine if justifiable. Review notifications to ensure jobs with are planned appropriately and efficiently from an Operations perspective. Validate Maintenance related overtime work. Manage Notification backlogs Work with Operations, Projects and Maintenance Groups to ensure proper workflow coordination and tracking of work. Assure work scope is clearly communicated. (PID’s, field walks, etc.) Close Notifications and communicate closures to affected parties. Monitor routine maintenance backlog and work with Maintenance Scheduler to ensure level is acceptable and appropriate to Production's needs. Liaison between Operations and Maintenance and responsible to provide updates on equipment status Works with Operations Shift Supervisors to ensure equipment is cleared and ready for Maintenance. Reviews any schedule breakers and assures equipment in ready for maintenance prior to maintenance start times and re-prioritizes these with consideration of operational needs. Ensure compliance of the assets with internal and external rules and regulations (e. g. mechanical integrity, SIS, inspections, waivers, temporary repairs, etc.) via adherence to scheduling requirements or seeking approval for extensions. Determine proper priority based upon resource availability and Maintenance schedules (final decision on priority). Participate in the optimization of scheduled and unscheduled downtime. Serve as liaison between Maintenance and Operations to coordinate, plan, and execute maintenance and capital activities, including outages and turnarounds. Maintain strong line of communication on status of completed work orders and findings. Attends Operations Morning communication meetings and provides equipment status and current activities going on in the field. Communicates unit needs to Field Supervisor and Planner/Schedulers. Communicates Operational changes that may impacts the Maintenance schedule. Provides work turnover communication to Operations. Analyze maintenance costs, in conjunction with Area Maintenance Supervision to understand cost drivers and look for opportunities to optimize.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a business or technical field with 5 years of experience; or High School Diploma or equivalent with 10+ years of experience in industrial, manufacturing or technical support functions.
  • Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
  • Efficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint is required
  • Excellent organizational skills with good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with OSHA, environmental or other regulations, preferred
  • Experience using SAP and knowledge of basic transactions is preferred
