About The Position

The Production Machine Operator (2pm - 10pm) is responsible for setting up and operating machinery. This role ensures that production processes run efficiently, safely, and in compliance with all standards and specifications. The Production Machine Operator plays a crucial part in maintaining product quality, meeting production goals, and adhering to company values and safety guidelines.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong attention to detail and quality control.
Ability to follow instructions and adhere to strict safety standards.
Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety policies and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
Machine Setup: Ensure that machinery is set up according to the specifications outlined in the machine’s spec sheet.
Machine Operation: Operate and maintain machinery including monitoring operation, machine adjustments and troubleshooting of equipment to meet required specifications.
Production Efficiency: Monitor and adjust machinery to meet quoted run times, ensuring production schedules are met without compromising quality.
Quality Control: Verify that the products produced are within the required production specifications and quality standards. Record in-process data accurately to ensure continuous monitoring of product quality and production metrics. Document any deviations from quality standards and report them for corrective action.
Maintenance Requests: Identify and report any equipment issues that affect production efficiency and create maintenance requests to ensure timely resolution.
Housekeeping and Organization: Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote a safe and efficient workspace.
Data Entry: Perform data entry in SAP to document material usage and movement.
Other duties as assigned.
