About The Position

By combining the strengths of Super-Pufft Snacks, USA, and Shearer’s, we anticipate enhanced operational efficiencies, improved supply chain capabilities, and increased geographical reach. The Machine Operator (PMO) will work nights from 11:00 PM to 07:00 AM, Sunday to Thursday, earning $21.11/hr. plus an additional $0.80/hr. shift premium.

Requirements

• Troubleshooting skills to work through problems and find root causes for mechanical and automation equipment.
• Basic computer skills required to run production and perform verifications.
• Effective time management skills to complete changeovers and plan breaks.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Familiarity with packaging machinery.

Responsibilities

• Run, change over, and ensure efficiency and quality of 3-5 packaging machines.
• Communicate changes and plans to team members in the immediate area and supervision.
• Perform required tasks on a computer at specific times throughout the shift.
• Set up and operate packaging equipment following precise recipes and work procedures.
• Monitor and adjust variables and perform product quality tests and data collection.
• React to direction from quality assurance and management personnel.
• Use hand tools as necessary.
