About The Position

A production machine operator is responsible to accurately process blend into a capsule or tablet form according to written instruction, setting up and operating production equipment, and in compliance with cGMPs and SOPs. Support, build, and promote a positive and collaborative culture across all teams. Full time position: Schedule Monday - Thursday 5:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. (Friday as needed)

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
One or more years’ experience

Responsibilities

Operate small, large, and high-speed tablet press.
Operate high-speed encapsulator.
Able to perform a daily preventive maintenance on the production equipment.
Monitor and troubleshoot machines and make minor adjustments on all machinery and equipment.
Utilize the tablet press daily and maintain paperwork in a neat and accurate manner.
Able to lift 30 pounds repeatedly, 50 pounds frequently and 75 + pounds with assistance, on a daily basis.
Ability to lift, twist, crawl, reach, grab, bend, stoop, climb, or perform similar activities as needed and stand for long periods.
Able to understand milligram, gram, and kilo scales.
Able to perform basic math calculations utilizing a calculator.
Perform all in-process quality control checks during production runs.
Interface with Production Manager, Supervisor, and Production Leads on a daily basis.
Clean machinery and equipment in a safe manner.
Able to train other production operators on safe and proper manner.
Utilize Redzone for communications, issues and create ideas/issues.
Run Redzone huddles.
Suggest ways to improve productivity and efficiencies.
Must be able to read, write, and converse in the English language.
Must be able to pass background check and drug screen.
Must be able to work in a variety of conditions: noise, dust, heavy lifting, repetitive motion, standing for long periods of time.
Must be able to recognize audible hazards.
Perform other projects / duties as assigned.
Maintain good attendance.
Follow GMP, PPE, and company safety policies in performance of job duties.
