About The Position

Pepsi Bottling Ventures is the nation’s largest private bottler and distributor of Pepsi beverages. Pepsi Bottling Ventures is based in NC, SC, MD, & DE. The purpose of the job is to operate and monitor high-speed machinery while complying with production and safety standards. The schedule for this position is from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, with the ability to multi-task and troubleshoot; critical thinking skills are necessary.
• Interfaces with Allen Bradley PLC controller and touch screen devices.
• Must be able to work hours necessary to complete assigned tasks.
• This position is 40 plus hours per week, Memorial Day through Labor Day; frequently work will be on Saturdays and Sundays in the summer.
• Possible flex shifts of 12 hour days.
• Must be able to successfully complete the forklift certification, as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Maintains all product flow.
• Ensures comprehensive product quality.
• Utilizes computer screens and functions, and is familiar with HMI functionality.
• Supports OEE functions on line, interprets data and makes adjustments, as needed.
• Maintains a clean work area and clean equipment.
• Completes all necessary line inspections and reports using computers/tablets on the line.
• Assists with line change over.
• Other duties as assigned.
