About The Position

A Production Line Worker is responsible for packaging food products in our facility to prepare them for distribution. The Production Line Worker is responsible for the packaging of our products following safe food handling requirements under SQF and HACCP. In this role, you will be a valuable part of our production team, ensuring our production quotas are met in a timely fashion while observing the highest standards of safety and quality. You will need to be reliable and punctual, able to perform repetitive physical tasks, and lift regularly.

Requirements

• Ability to read, sort, check, count, and verify numbers
• Physically able to lift and manipulate heavy objects
• Clearly and concisely communicate verbally and in writing
• High school diploma/GED required
• Equivalent combinations of education and work experience will be considered

Nice To Haves

• Food & Beverage or perishable goods industry experience is highly desirable

Responsibilities

• Work on the production line with consistent speed and accuracy
• Work on the mezzanine with efficiency, safety, and accuracy
• Ensure that production requirements and standards are met consistently
• Make every effort to increase productivity and efficiency without compromising quality
• Load hoppers with the product as specified by the production schedule
• Operate machinery correctly and maintain it with care
• Report any machinery issues to management
• Work cooperatively with the production team to meet quotas and goals
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Observe all safety guidelines and report safety concerns to management
• Follow all written and verbal instructions
• Attend all safety and production training
• Demonstrate a positive and professional attitude
• Team player with a solid work ethic who is always prompt and committed to maintaining consistent work attendance
• Display exceptional attention to detail as well as the adaptability to move to a different position in the production line as required

• Perform other duties as requested by the supervisor
