About The Position

GA Foods is seeking a Production Line Team Lead to support daily production operations, lead by example, and help drive efficiency, quality, and safety. This is a full-time, on-site role ideal for hands-on leaders who want to grow in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Requirements

Experience leading a team in a production or manufacturing environment, food industry experience preferred
Hands-on leadership style, willing to work alongside the team
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, changing environment
Comfortable using systems to track production and performance metrics
Basic math and measurement skills
Knowledge of GMP, sanitation, and safety practices
Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality
Full-time schedule, 6:30am to 4:00pm, with required weekend work based on business needs
Ability to work in a production environment with varying conditions, including noise, temperature changes, odors, and wet or slippery surfaces
Regular standing, bending, lifting, and repetitive motion throughout the shift
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally and up to 8 lbs frequently
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
Must be dependable and punctual

Responsibilities

Support and help oversee daily production line operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to company standards
Set up and operate production equipment, including packaging, labeling, and assembly stations
Ensure accuracy in product labeling, coding, and packaging to meet quality standards
Troubleshoot workflow issues and work with the team to reduce downtime and improve output
Act as a go-to resource on the production floor, supporting team members and resolving issues as they arise
Enforce safety standards, sanitation protocols, and company policies
Assist with equipment adjustments and basic troubleshooting to minimize disruptions
Maintain accurate production records, including output, waste, and downtime
Identify and communicate process improvement opportunities
Partner with Quality, Safety, and Maintenance teams to support smooth operations
Promote a safe work environment and lead by example
