About The Position

We are seeking a motivated, hands-on Production Line Lead to support daily manufacturing operations on the shop floor. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced production environment, enjoys working alongside team members, and can help keep production running smoothly while reinforcing quality and safety expectations. The Production Line Lead works closely with the Team Leader and production teams to help execute the daily production plan, provide real-time support on the floor, and promote a positive, accountable, and safe workplace culture. Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in manufacturing, production, or warehouse operations preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and communicate with team members.
  • Ability to stay organized and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety standards.
  • Comfortable working on the production floor and performing walkthroughs.
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, production systems, or reporting tools).
  • Ability to lift up to 50–75 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting in monitoring the daily workload through open order status reports and production meetings
  • Assisting in coordinating work across the production line to maintain flow and efficiency
  • Spot-checking for known quality issues related to vendors, materials, or machinery
  • Communicating quality concerns to team members and leadership
  • Listening to team member feedback and encouraging open communication regarding quality issues
  • Being present and accessible for team members throughout the shift
  • Providing day-to-day guidance, follow-up, and encouragement with a positive, solution-oriented attitude.
  • Help remove obstacles so team members can stay focused and productive
  • Participating in daily production coordination meetings by discussing workload and staffing
  • Communicating production flow updates, support needs, complex orders, and other key information to the Team Leader and fellow coordinators
  • Conducting daily end-of-shift walkthroughs to verify housekeeping and shutdown procedures are completed
  • Monitor PPE compliance and remind team members when PPE is missing
  • Watch for and report near-miss incidents and safety concerns
  • Report safety violations to the Team Leader and ensure start-up and shutdown documentation is completed
