About The Position

This position is responsible for organizing, directing, training, and effectively communicating productivity, efficiency, and behavioral expectations to the personnel on the production line to which they are assigned as lead, while ensuring that operating procedures are followed and quality standards are met. This position is also responsible for communicating any issues (quality, productivity, personnel, etc.) to line supervision and/or production management in a timely manner. This position is responsible for monitoring quality on the assigned line and ensuring that the product being packed out matches the specifications provided by quality control, as well as communicating those requirements to line personnel.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age
Completion of high school diploma or GED
Must be able to provide proof of identity and authorization to work in the U.S.
Ability to effectively communicate in English (speak, read, and write)
Has successfully demonstrated a strong work ethic, leadership qualities, and attention to detail
Completes Qualifications Requirements within 90 days of position performance
Has not received disciplinary action for attendance, performance, or behavior for at least 180 days prior to application

Responsibilities

Ensures all line personnel comply with required PPE and GMP
Organizes and directs line set-up and changeovers
Instructs line personnel on correct method for replenishing components
Understands and communicates correct procedure for retrieving, counting, and refurbishing components
Understands and communicates correct process for palletizing and locating finished product
Demonstrates proficient knowledge in locating and interpreting product quality requirement documents.
Accurately completes and submits all paperwork associated with lead role
Identifies opportunities to optimize workflow
Trains new line personnel on the work to be performed
Oversees the work of line personnel to ensure that productivity, efficiency, and quality standards are met
Attends and participates in weekly line lead meetings
Ensures line clearances are properly executed and verified at completion of job
Ensures start up QC is called at the beginning of any new job/lot
Capable of correctly setting up designated equipment in a timely manner as determined by Management
Maintains a neat, clean, safe, and orderly work area
Follows Management directions
Follows all Company safety rules/procedures, and abides by all Company policies
Other duties as may be occasionally assigned by the Management team.
