About The Position

Under general supervision, helps to coordinate specific production line operations, in order to assure their line of the plant is running smoothly, without interruption. Proactively identify issues with the production line, assist and train line personnel and equipment to guarantee quality product and ensure safety.

Requirements

• Six (6) months to one (1) year of relevant experience.
• Production experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all line equipment by performing daily inspections, troubleshooting and anticipating issues that might arise on the line.
• Complete sorting tasks as necessary to keep line running efficiently.
• Provide support, coverage, training, and direction to line personnel.
• Observe all safety protocol and factors and take action as appropriate to mitigate safety risks.
• Maintain a safe work area in compliance with Corporate/OSHA standards.
• Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures including Hazardous Energy Control Procedures, Lock Out/Tag Out and Confined Space protocol.
• Assist in planning daily needs of the line equipment and production.
• Communicate through written and verbal communications with proper plant management/departments/employees to assure most productive outcome.
• Maintain optimal quality and production of their assigned line/area.
• Maintain cleanliness of floor and equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.
